He also smoked Indian Cigars, used a cigar holder, and carried a blunt pen knife. The killer used a rock to hit Mr. McCarthy over the head. When they returned to their hotel they pulled out a map of Australia and concluded that the murderer was from Ballarat. Holmes and Watson put the pieces of the puzzle together and found out that Mr. John Turner killed Mr. McCarhty. In conclusion, The Great Adventures of Sherlock Holmes was an excellent book and one classic that everyone should read. I would enjoy reading more stories in the unabridged version.
